The exploitation, from 1971 to 1985, by a trawler master from Guilvinec, of his fishing zones has been studied by means of maps drawn up from his ship 's logs. The changes of working zones are connected with the necessity for the ship-owner to insure the profitability of his enterprise. They necessitate particular means and are subject to the technical, sociological and economical environment constraints.
